The Med Spa – Wimberley
Founded by Yvette Strange, The Med Spa opened its doors in January 2016 and quickly became a trusted destination for advanced skincare in Wimberley and the surrounding Hill Country. What began as a passion project rooted in personalized care and clinical precision has grown into a full-service, medically-directed aesthetic spa known for excellence and results.
Under the guidance of Medical Director Dr. J. Ivan Ramirez, The Med Spa offers medical-grade treatments including BOTOX®, Dysport®, Restylane, SkinPen®, Secret RF, PRP, and Clinical Chemical Peels — all performed with safety, efficacy, and your skin health in mind.

Yvette Strange
Owner - Skin Care Specialist
Yvette Strange has been a leader in aesthetics for over three decades. Since 1989, she has honed her craft across medical-grade peels, injectables, laser treatments, and permanent cosmetics — working in both plastic surgery settings and high-end medical spas. As founder and owner of The Med Spa Wimberley, Yvette’s passion has always been delivering beautiful, healthy skin through clinical precision and compassionate care.
Today, she is gradually stepping back from day-to-day treatments to focus on mentoring the team, raising the bar for client experiences, and shaping the vision of The Med Spa. Yvette believes it’s not just about what treatments are done, but how clients feel cared for, safe, and confident during every part of their journey.
Dr. Ivan Ramirez
Medical Director
Dr. Ramirez is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with over 25 years of experience in patient care. A native of the Rio Grande Valley, he was born in Edinburg and raised in Mission, Texas. He completed his residency in Family Practice at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 1995.
After nearly a decade practicing in Cuero, Texas, Dr. Ramirez moved to Wimberley, where he opened Wimberley Medical Clinic in 2008. His dedication to the health of the community has made him a trusted and respected figure in local medicine.
In December 2015, Dr. Ramirez became the Medical Director of The Med Spa, where he provides medical oversight and ensures all clinical protocols meet the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and patient care.
He is a proud member of the Texas Medical Association and the Hays County Medical Society.
Misty Windham
Office Manager, LVN
Misty has been in the medical field since the age of 17, bringing years of experience, compassion, and dedication to every role she takes on. A seasoned nurse with a background in multiple specialties—including 12 years in Hospice care—she eventually found her true passion in medical aesthetics. Her deep knowledge, leadership skills, and love for helping others led her to become the Manager of our incredible team at The Med Spa.
Ashley Buse
Social Media Manager, Content Creator
Ashley is our Social Media Manager and content creation pro, known for her creative eye and talent for capturing the perfect “Instagrammable moment.” She plays a key role in growing our brand and sharing the heart of our Med Spa with the world. Ashley’s energy, creativity, and passion make her an invaluable part of our team.
Gregory Merrill - LMT
Massage Therapist
Gregory brings over two decades of experience in therapeutic bodywork, beginning his career in 1998 at the renowned Venetian Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. Since relocating to Texas, he has continued his practice at prestigious spas including Lake Austin Spa and Barton Creek Spa.
Gregory is highly skilled in a wide range of massage techniques, including Ayurvedic massage, Reiki, reflexology, sports massage, trigger point therapy, cupping, fascia blasting, and Thai massage. His deep understanding of the body and intuitive approach allow him to customize each session to relieve pain, restore balance, and promote overall wellness.

Front Desk Supervisor, Medical Aesthetician
Callie is a medical esthetician and Front Desk Guru known for her exceptional communication and customer service skills. Always ready to help, she goes above and beyond to ensure every client feels welcomed and cared for. Eager to learn and continuously grow, Callie’s dedication and positivity make her a true asset to our team.
Bryana Caldera
Esthetician, Laser Tech, Laser Officer
Bryana is passionate about skincare and creating personalized experiences that help every client feel their absolute best. After completing her esthetics education at Ann Webb Skin Institute, she developed strong skills in customized facials, chemical peels, brow and lash services, and medical spa treatments.
Bryana loves building relationships with her clients and takes pride in making each visit comfortable, relaxing, and results-driven. Her goal is simple — to help you feel confident in your skin while providing professional, attentive care every step of the way.
She is dedicated to continuing education and is always expanding her knowledge to bring the best and most effective treatments to her clients.
