Our story
The Med Spa, Wimberley
Founded by Yvette Strange, The Med Spa opened its doors in January 2016 and quickly became a trusted destination for advanced skincare in Wimberley and the surrounding Hill Country. What began as a passion project rooted in personalized care and clinical precision has grown into a full-service, medically directed aesthetic spa known for excellence and results.
Under the guidance of our Medical Director, Dr. Teresa Irwin, The Med Spa offers medical-grade treatments including BOTOX®, Dysport®, Restylane, SkinPen®, Secret RF, PRP, and clinical chemical peels — all performed with safety, efficacy, and your skin health in mind.

Yvette Strange
Owner, Skin Care Specialist
Yvette Strange has been a leader in aesthetics for over three decades. Since 1989, she has honed her craft across medical-grade peels, injectables, laser treatments, and permanent cosmetics, working in both plastic surgery settings and high-end medical spas. As founder and owner of The Med Spa Wimberley, Yvette’s passion has always been delivering beautiful, healthy skin through clinical precision and compassionate care.
Today, she is gradually stepping back from day-to-day treatments to focus on mentoring the team, raising the bar for client experiences, and shaping the vision of The Med Spa. Yvette believes it’s not just about what treatments are done, but how clients feel cared for, safe, and confident during every part of their journey.

Dr. Teresa Irwin, M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. Teresa Irwin, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., F.P.M.R.S., is a board-certified expert in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and Obstetrics and Gynecology, bringing over two decades of advanced medical experience to women’s health and aesthetics. Recognized as one of Texas Monthly’s “Best Doctors,” she is known for delivering exceptional, results-driven care with a refined, patient-centered approach.
A graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, with residency training at Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Irwin combines elite medical training with mastery of the most advanced technologies in both surgical and non-surgical treatments. Her expertise includes Da Vinci robotic surgery, pelvic floor reconstruction, and cutting-edge aesthetic and regenerative therapies designed to enhance confidence, wellness, and vitality.
As the founder and CEO of Aesthetics of Central Texas and theVaginacologist, Dr. Irwin is a trusted leader in luxury women’s health and intimate wellness. She is passionate about helping women look and feel their absolute best through personalized, discreet, and sophisticated care tailored to every stage of life.
Ken Strange
Office Manager
Ken takes the helm as Office Manager and resident Instagram personality at The Med Spa after retiring from a 30-year career with Wimberley EMS. These days he keeps things running behind the scenes, and has discovered a new talent for being silly in front of the camera.
Daniel Ramsay
Licensed Massage Therapist
Daniel brings more than 20 years of experience in therapeutic massage and bodywork. His approach draws from deep tissue, Swedish, sports massage, Shiatsu, reflexology, and energy work, tailoring each session to the individual. Daniel specializes in relieving chronic tension, improving mobility, and creating a deeply restorative experience.
Gregory Merrill
Massage Therapist
Gregory brings over two decades of experience in therapeutic bodywork, beginning his career in 1998 at the Venetian Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. Since relocating to Texas he has practiced at Lake Austin Spa and Barton Creek Spa. He is highly skilled in Ayurvedic massage, Reiki, reflexology, sports massage, trigger point therapy, cupping, fascia blasting, and Thai massage, customizing each session to relieve pain and restore balance.
Hallie Strange
Esthetician, Laser Hair Removal Technician
Hallie is an esthetician and laser hair removal technician at The Med Spa, working across facials, peels, skin care and laser hair removal.
Bryana Caldera
Esthetician, Laser Tech, Laser Officer
Bryana is passionate about skincare and creating personalized experiences that help every client feel their absolute best. After completing her esthetics education at Ann Webb Skin Institute, she developed strong skills in customized facials, chemical peels, brow and lash services, and medical spa treatments. She is dedicated to continuing education and is always expanding her knowledge.

Front Desk Supervisor, Medical Aesthetician
Callie is a medical esthetician and front desk guru known for her exceptional communication and customer service. Always ready to help, she goes above and beyond to ensure every client feels welcomed and cared for.
